Brian Evans, DDS
Dr. Evans is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He has a compassionate approach to patient care as he strives to ensure the comfort and trust that is expected in a doctor-patient relationship. Patients and staff enjoy his upbeat personality and jovial attitude – it is easy to see that he loves what he does!
Dr. Evans is a Veteran that served as an Active Duty Navy Oral Surgeon. He has completed multiple deployments aboard the USS Carl Vinson and the USNS Mercy Hospital Ship. Throughout his decade of service, he has had the distinct privilege of treating many of our heroes, both Sailors and Marines, as they returned from combat and overseas tours.
After earning a BS from Brigham Young University-Idaho in Human Biology/Chemistry and a DMD from The University of Louisville School of Dentistry, Dr. Evans then went on to complete two residencies: a General Practice Residency (GPR) at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton followed by Oral & Maxillofacial Residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego. Through his military and civilian practice, Dr. Evans has extensive experience and training in dentoalveolar surgery, dental implantology, orthognathic surgery, maxillofacial trauma and benign head and neck pathology.
Dr. Evans is a General Anesthesia examiner for the Dental Board of California and carries certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Tactical Combat Casualty Care and a General Anesthesia permit.
In his spare time, Dr. Evans enjoys traveling the world with his wife, Tracy, also a Navy dentist, and spending time with their children and dogs. He is an avid golfer and football enthusiast.
