Tory Silvestrin, D.D.S., M.S.D., M.S.H.P.E.

Tory Silvestrin is a Board Certified Endodontist. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Pacific Lutheran University and his Doctoral of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Washington. Subsequently, he earned his Endodontic Certificate, Masters of Science in Dentistry (MSD), and Masters of Health Professions Education (MSHPE) from Loma Linda University.

Dr. Silvestrin finds satisfaction in helping patients save their teeth through endodontic therapy. He performs initial root canal procedures, nonsurgical root canal procedures as well as endodontic surgical procedures (inclusive of apical microsurgery, replantation and resorption repair, among other needed treatments). He has completed thousands of root canals during his career.

Tory serves on the faculty at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in the Department of Endodontics. He is active in administration, teaching and serves on multiple committees and actively lectures and provides hands-on seminars for multiple continuing education courses. He enjoys being able to help others grow their endodontic knowledge and clinical skillset.

He has served on multiple Committees and Taskforces for the American Association of Endodontists, to help shape the future of the endodontic specialty.
Tory is a published author regarding multiple endodontic topics in peer-reviewed journals and is the author of endodontic textbook chapters. He is actively involved in a number of clinical and basic science research projects.

He considers himself a life-long learner and pursues frequent continuing education courses to make sure he’s aware of the recent and upcoming advancements in management of patients’ endodontic treatment needs.

When not peering through a microscope into teeth, he enjoys spending time with his family and competing in endurance sports.
